The condition of the Kronn military is deterioriating after equipment which has been handed down from soldier to soldier continues to break down. The reallocation of trade resources seems to be one cause. There's a rumor going around that the Caliph is discussing the situation with his military and resource advisors.

An unknown force appears to be assaulting Kronn in some sort of holy war.

So far these rumors are unsubstantiated.

Rumors spread from Kronn about a breakthrough in armor development. Soldiers in strange looking armor are spotted performing manuevers deep in the desert.

While many people still believe the Queen and Governor Risig were kidnapped by pirates, there is some rumors going around that they arranged to be kidnapped themselves. Other rumors suggest the kidnapped failed and Tatianna kept up appearances to save face.

Bugbears were seen in Volkstaad recently carrying what appeared to be templar gear. Most dismiss such an absurd rumor claiming it must just be junk covered in ice.
